New interns, new children's book, and a call for your photos.

Retreats at the newly renovated Laity Lodge began September 15 following a 22-month hiatus. The next issue of ECHOES Newsletter will be a special 2017 Annual Report, arriving in mailboxes in early 2018.

Laity Lodge is excited to announce the addition of Brandon Dickerson as a new director. Longtime employee Dayna DeLaVergne retired in late 2016 after a 38-year career with H-E-B and The H. E. Butt Foundation. The Texas Water Development Board recently installed a weather station at the H. E. Butt Foundation Camps. Laity Lodge construction and 1,573 LLYC campers. Family Campers enjoing outdoor elements and Foundation Campers establishing new rhythms. Overall, the Canyon had an amazing summer in 2016.

LLYC celebrates 50 years of super-charged, God-inspired fun. Sara Groves, Andy Gullahorn, Daniel Makins, Jill Phillips, and others led worship and teaching and song writing at Family Camp. And Dwight Lacy retired from the H. E. Butt Foundation after an incredible 37-years helping the Foundation move toward better financial stewardship!
